Music venues and stores NYC

Boy, there used to be a TON of them. I don't know if Rudy's is still around, I know they're not at their original location. Uh, I don't know if the OG Sam Ash is still there, or Manny's. I think Sadowsky and Fodera will let you come shoot the poopie with enough warning. A lot has changed since last time I was there, this used to be a happenin' topic of conversation. My only advice is to go see the Dillinger Escape Plan while you're there, their last show is in NYC on the 28th.

 

Sadowsky is open during the week, so fun to drop in. Music wise, Greenwich Village and SoHo are more music oriented than anything heading north. Brooklyn has a ton of music too.
