Musicians on stage wearing black clothes...

For gigs which are a little dressier, I go to my trusty old RL black/pintripe suit.
Jean gigs often get a black tee or jersey.

I'm fine with black. I live in a house full of classical musicians. Everybody's got a set of concert black, plus a pair of "gig shoes." It doesn't even require any thought.

I got a second hand tux long ago, that has served me through hundreds of gigs. It's worn out, but tux gigs have been dwindling over the past decade. I think one reason is that a particular bandleader who always insisted on tux got out of the business.

OK, all you color muppets, you talked me into color. Well, you kinda talked me into it, and the TalkBass had a linked ad from a shirt company, and I ended up ordering several. I'm posting a few examples here. (Whether my band leader ever allows me to wear them on stage is another story.)

I'm both fascinated and horrified. I want one with every fiber of my being, and yet I want to destroy the company that made them and salt the earth so that nothing may ever grow there.

My head is now swimming and I'm questioning my very grasp on reality and the nature of the universe.

Are the sizes consistent, and is the quality decent?
No idea. This is my first time ordering from them. I'd never even heard of the company until I saw their ad here on TalkBass.
I just want to know on the sizes. With some companies, what the call a large is less than a medium
They have a size guide. If you click on any shirt, on that page there will be a link to the size guide.

It seems like some of their stuff is quoted in CM, so I would assume the stuff probably runs a bit small. I would basically go a size larger - possibly two - than you normally do, depending on how you are built.

If we ever moved to England or certain parts of Europe, I'd be hosed because while my jacket size is 46, I have really wide shoulders and so many times have ordered shirts only to find that I get armpit wedgies from them.
