$75.00 for a 9" x 15.5" blank:confused:

The material from WD is top notch. I've bought 3 pickguards from them, one abalone and two in vintage pearl. I've also bought blank sheets from them to make pickguards that they dont make. For standard pickguards it much simpler to spend the extra 20 bucks and have them make it over the cost of the blank sheet. The pickguard the the Stingray classic I posted above was about $80 delivered.......expensive but top notch.

Just played one....... holy crap!!! The MusicMan Stingray is the greatest bass on the planet!! I'm a Fender Jazz guy, and I think I have found a new favorite bass. Bump the pic fellow bass players.

As they say over at the EBMM board, welcome to the addiction!
Re Stingray vs Jazz, it has the advantage that the stock pickups are damn good and not noisy. When I had a jazz the stock pickups were great, but noisy. All the upgraded pickups were quieter but had limp tone.
Re; pg material, if you need a pg by all means get one of the guys that makes pg's for a livin do it for you. If you want a weird pg cover that would be a diy thing. The accordion pearloid is thinner so easier to work with. That pg material is a mother though. It burns and melts if you cut it too fast, cracks if you cut it too hard.

I just sold one of my stingrays, not because I want to, but I need some cash for my newborn baby, it's black/maple 06 ray, with some minor scratch, sold it at around 1290 USD at todays currency....

is this made me a SINNER?....:hiding:
am I going to HELL?....:hiding:

coz I really love that stingray....,
fortunately, I got another one, natural maple in very mint condition...:bassist:

No sin and no trip to the hot place. You made an adult decision with very honorable reasoning. ;)

CONGRATS on the new baby! :hyper: Family does come first. Basses can come and go but family is number one.

Please, when you get a chance snap a photo of your little one with the bass.
