Must have bass pedals? Go!

In any hypothetical "only X pedals" thread in the effects forum, I always assume I'm allowed a clip-on tuner or one built into the amp. But yes, in any real situation, I'd probably have a tuner on my board just because it's the most convenient place to have the tuner, and it's also a useful kill switch between songs or for switching basses.

Found this slightly old thread whilst searching for some inspiration.

I have been playing around for the past month trying to settle on "my sound" and have ended up with that least favourite thing of all boutique nerds, a trio of Boss pedals - TU-2 tuner, CS-3 compressor and DS-1 distortion (modified with more volume and more low end and the seeing-eye mod which puts a blue LED in the signal path as a clipping diode, puts it on the outside where it flickers with the signal). Favourite pedal mod that I've done

Also have a Dunlop Bass Cry Baby which I've been enjoying, now it's set how I like it - nice and subtle.

I also intended to use my polytune 2 mini for weight saving as I bike my gear around, but I have one of those plastic Boss pedal boards that handily carries three of their pedals!

Glad you and Scarface enjoyed Eagles Of Death Metal. They're one of my favorite pop rock bands ever. Their name is a goof on the Eagles and some band I never heard of called Vader. One of their friends said Vader was death metal and Josh Homme, the leader of Queens of the Stone Age and EODMs drummer, said they were the Eagles of death metal. Jesse Hughes, the singer, liked that and went with it.

Apologies for the derail.
Vader are a Polish Death Metal Band. Cool cats.
