MXR bass innovations

Looks like something new is on the way I wonder what it could be. Anyone going to the bass player live event this weekend that can check it out.

I see at least one button between rows of knobs.... Green color makes me think about the Carbon Copy. Bass phaser might be cool - but that a huge change in knobs compared to all other mxr phasers. Tone shaping preamp? I'm baffled, but intrigued....

There are two holes in MXR stable of bass pedals, a bass phaser or a bass synth.
I would lean toward a phaser on this one.

Whatever it is, it's nice to see they keep on adding cool stuff.

I would like them to do a deluxe wah. They bass wah is good but it would be fun to have a super wah with more tricks built into it.

And yes, it's call a teaser campaign in marketing parlance and it works.

Yeah I'm thinking a phaser but a synth would be really cool. I can't think of much else that would need to be bass specific like delay/reverb type pedals and we don't need more dirt pedals from them. So is anyone going to bass player live that can check it out i would but LA is kinda far from central Texas.

I also had synth in mind, but in that small casing, is it possible ?

The deluxe wah would be f... awesome.

Well shoot, I literally just bought the Bass DI two weeks ago and I actually really like it! Pretty cool though. Can't wait to hear how it sounds, not like it's kicking the M80 off my board anytime soon but just out of general curiosity... :P
