@Henry: i can´t say anything about the MXR El Grande Fuzz or the MXR Blowtorch ... but i believe you would like the MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe. It´s a great sounding fuzz with many tweak options ... even without much clean blend there seems to be a lot of low end in my experience.
