My 1SPOT power supply...............

A One spot should have no problem running all that, but...

I've had two One Spots crap out on me over the last 5 years. Never ran more than 3 pedals on them at any one time either. And all the pedals were under 100mA draw each, well under what a One Spot should be able to handle.

A 5 port Cioks SOL might fit under there. They're slim line. But I don't know. Sweetwater has them for 175

Sweetwater also has a smaller and slimmer 4 port Cioks Eventide PowerMini EXP for 139

Cioks gear is some of the best around. I now run a full board, 12 pedals, using a Cioks DC7 & Crux Converter. It powers everything flawlessly and I have no issues with line/signal noise at all.

Gonna try another daisy chain adapter. The one I have has 5 plugs. Gonna try a 2-3 plug adapter. I bought the one I got off Amazon. Probably not the best quality. In the mean time, I have enough wall warts to use. I also have a Coda wall wart. I'll try the daisy chain adapter with that one and see what happens.

I had that same problem with the 1Spot wall wart thing. It couldn't power up 4 pedals on my micro-board, only three. Stopped using a pedal board, and just went FOH for years. Then a EWI player brought out a Temple board with a CIOKS 7 underneath. Worked exceptionally fine. So I went with a Temple and CIOKS. Never a problem.

We get what we pay for. If you want a hassle free rig, go with quality suppliers. I'm not saying you have to go with CIOKS, you just need to go with a quality power supply. 1Spot does make the pro line which has to be better than wall-warts with a daisy chain power cord.

I think you can get the replacement on Amazon. For me it's a 2 day delivery. Overnight if I get 18 worth of Ramen :D

You have to be careful when daisy-chaining not to ground out any extra unused outputs- since the pedal standard is center negative, that means the exposed outside of each plug is the positive and if it hits the side of a pedal or even the pedalboard itself it can ground out the power to all the pedals. I have some little rubber switch topper pieces that I can put over unused plugs on daisy-chain cables to stop this from happening.

You say all the pedals powered on though, which suggests the daisy-chain grounding out probably wasn't the problem. I have had a number of One-Spots go bad in different ways over the years, and annoyingly it might just affect how it operates with a single pedal in some cases ( I still have a few One-Spots that will work fine with 90% of my pedals but not with 1 or 2 of them, while other One-Spots will work perfectly fine with all of my pedals- its kinda maddening!). None of your pedals looks to be one that I would expect issues with, but hard to say for sure. Sometimes certain pedals also just don't play well daisy-chained, and you wouldn't know til you tried.

I cut up sections of a drinking straw to slide over unused barrel ends. I basically tried straws from various restaurants till I found one the fit snugly. Pretty sure the straw that worked came from Whataburger.

Update: I just tested the 1SPOT again and it worked. It very well may have been the unused daisy chain plug was touching something and shorting things out. I'll use some electrical tape and cover up the unused plug. I did notice the pedal lights going on and off a few times. I saw the unused plug touching the side of one of the pedals. When I moved the plug, the lights stayed on. I'll try it again next rehearsal in 2 weeks.

I think I got a bunch of DPDT switch caps from an electrical supply store at some point (it may have been a Radio Shack, or an independent one- when either of those was still a thing!). It was so long ago I can't recall, but they happened to be the perfect size to slip over the 5.5mm tips.

While my main big board has a brick, my small mono size board has 7 pedals squeezed on it and is all powered by a wall wart 1 Spot (and previously an Acoustic wall wart) for years. Two of those pedals being Sushi tube pedals. No supply issues, and this board was seeing 40-50 gigs a year.

I now zip tie the cable as a strain relief this way to the housing to eliminate the kink and tugging that damaged previous wall warts of mine. And I store them wound-up looser where I used to wind them up so tight.

I had the B Factory hooked up but unhooked it at rehearsal. Pedals still didn't pass sound. When I checked it again at home all were working. In any case, I'm going to switch it out with the MXR M80

Don't use tape, the residue will eventually transfer to a power jack down the road when it's needed and create new issues.

For some strange reason, one of my barrel plugs sports a black vinyl end cap like you'd find on a selector switch. Might be available at the hardware store. Better yet, just slide a length of shrink wrap over the plug and torch for a second...no residue plus it can be removed easily for assignment.

Back when I was running a One Spot, the extension cable was supposed to come with the end caps on the plugs, or so I thought. Anyway I emailed Truetone about it and even offered to buy a handful if they would sell them to me. Nothing doing, they wouldn't take my money, instead they shipped me a handful of those caps for free! 😁
