Well you know, if its on the internet it has to be TRUE...I'm a "French Model"....Bonjour
So, they weigh more than the manufacturer says, but feel lighter than they are.
That makes perfect sense.
maybe you could get a separate cab that's just a tweeter. actually, that was a joke, but now that I think about it there was a jazz amp that had the separate tweeter option...

The spec lists 42 - 2000 Hz
I'm thinking that isn't true either. 42 sounds too good to be true (assuming -3dB) and 2000 sounds low. Those are sub woofer specs - like a 3012LF
So, it feels lighter than spec (even though it's heavier) and sounds better than spec.
And the price we paid is WAY off spec ( list $899. )

I had the 112/112NT stack for a while. They are closer to the 42 pounds than 55, IIRC.
The 42hz spec is off, too. A pair of these is very full sounding, and loud, but they aren't 3012LF territory. Low mids is where these cabs shine.

First impressions...very well built, and alot smaller than I expected. My cat Cujo seems to approve though. Love the green!

Well anyone within an hour driving distance of my zip 10990, I would be willing to take one or two off your hands for the right price. 
I used my pair of DB112s at my gig last night. Ran my Lakland Decade through a Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 and I couldn't be happier. Smooth, fat bottom end with just enough mid presence to cut through the mix when needed.
I just received the two LeCover padded covers I ordered on Thursday, and these cabs are going to become my new gigging rig.

MorrisonHendrix, or any of you other guys who ordered on the EVENING of 8/3 - have you gotten any updates?
Mine is promised to another TBer at this point, but still the status hasn't changed. Actually, it's weird. Originally it estimated Oct 3 - Oct 31 or something like that. But when I changed the shipping address to that of the TBer I promised it to, it changed the shipping dates to "Oct 3, 2013 - Jan 2014" - Double you tee eff? Did I break Amazon?
