My Aguilar db112...DEAL

For those of you looking for one of these cabinets, there's one available on the Nashville CL. I'm guessing it's someone who bought during the sale and is trying to make a few bucks. And I'm also guessing that he/she may be a bit desperate since the ad is being deleted / reposted every single day. Might be a good deal for someone.

For my taste, they are not enough without a tweeter. I've been using a GS112 on top of a DB112NT and that works very nicely. Shouldn't be too many interference issues as they are both the same size with the same driver. Different porting arrangement though.

I find these to be very luxurious sounding, with warm and deep lows, but a very present midrange punch. I think that is this cabs strong suit. Personally, I don't have a need for the tweeter, but if I had to comment, I'd say that this cab is still very capable and could easily be present and cut through the mix without the super twizzle of a tweeter. I play a lot of, reggae, r&b, blues and rock, am not a slapper - all fingerstyle and I like a slight scoop, which sounds very very nice with these.

That sounds promising. Sounds like you and I share the same playing style, so these might work fine for me.

For those of us who got our cabs, and who are into such things as matching racks....

Ordered [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] from Mojotone and it's a match for the Aguilar monster green. Looking forward to a matching rig.
