First attempt at iMovie, i'm proud of myself!
Used my Schecter studio 6 string for all the songs and an agular bass pre amp.

Yeah, I think you understood what i meant by "sort of mixed".

Ever since I started playing with her (five years ago) I've always gravitated towards chick singers.

We're in the studio right now. Literally, I have my laptop on my music stand and we're setting everything up! so stoked! finally doing a real album!

Liberation is one of my fav's too, probably bc it's so bass heavy :)

Like foq1978, the name Cardigans popped in my head too. And I don't mean that as a bad thing.

Cool sounds, especially some of the guitar sounds are really good and refreshing. I like the songs too.

The only gripe I have are the drums. Ok, it's semi-mixed but that doesn't bother me and the drumming isn't bad at all either, but if I was part of this project, I'd really like to experiment with drums sounds with more room, air and size in them to make them a bit deeper and "surrounding". Maybe even some electronic, trip hop kind of drums might be interesting and good in this context. I think the drums definately need a bit more "meat" on their sound. Now they sound, sorry to say, a bit dull. But proper mixing can help with this. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but it was pretty much only thing I kept wondering about.

Nevertheless if you ever record a full lenght album or even burn this stuff on cd's after mixing, I'd be very interested in buying the record. I hope to hear more from you.

yeah, we're in the studio right now doing a real full length. With an actually drum room and all the right gear and programming. Should be some huge drums and small tight ones for some faster songs

We've got a great team working on this, so stoked. and I'll post when we get done.

PS did any of you see our music video?

and the vocals def do sound like the cardigan's

I also think of the cranberry's some times.

Are you guys working with a producer on the album? The reason I ask is that I'd say, with your sound, there's no reason to be afraid of providing some serious dynamic depth to album, but very few producers do (or are any good at it) these days. You guys sound like good enough musicians to do it if you've got someone behind you who's willing to go for it. I'm not sure how you recorded the demos, but they've got a very [modern] compressed neatness that doesn't necessarily complement (to my ears) the sound of the project.

Strong material. Market it hard & make friends with everyone.

I honestly don't know if I would listen to this if I were not listening for the sake of the thread, but that being said IT IS QUITE GOOD. keep it going and don't be afraid to push the boundaries a bit more, if I have one main criticism it sounds a bit too "straight" or "by the books" for my ear. I will stress again though that it does sound pretty dang good.
