I am so looking forward to it.
I already told my teacher that I plan to focus on fretless this fall.
Killer deal good Dr, I've had two Buzz's, incuding one I got used for $1200 and thought it was a great deal. You STOLE that Pentabuzz!
I've never hit them much, there aren't many around me, and the better known ones like Hardcore Pawn seem to know how to look stuff up on line. But I have a buddy who picked up a Bourgouis accoustic guitar worth about 3K for $400 at a local shop, maybe I should hit them more looking for one of those cheap Polish Fender copies.
Nice! I sold an early Buzz 4 a few years back for about $800 and it was mangled. If that bass is in as good shape as it looks, it is a $2k bass all day long.
BTW, IME there is no easier fretless to play than a Pedulla Buzz. Nothing is even close. That fretboard is amazing. Sounds good for all types of music and is a joke to slap on as it is so easy and sounds so great. I could easily use one as my main gigging bass in my rock cover band.
I would have kept mine but couldn't stand the filter preamp that many earlier Pedullas had.
