My Blueburst Sadowsky is DONE!!!

Just wait till you see it in person! That Bora Blue came out great.

Ash Body with AAA maple top
Bora Blue Burst finish
Vintage style with parchment pickguard
Braz RW board with abalone dots and rolled fingerboard edges
20 fret neck, with 9 inch radius and vintage tint
Single coil pickups
Total weight of 7.45 pounds - WOW!

:eek: I said this in your last thread Alexander, but that really is the best piece of quilted maple I've ever seen on any guitar or bass - just perfect!

Congrats to you and to all at Sadowsky, who had a hand in building it :) .

At that weight, you're not ever going to put it down until your fingers get sore, which is (IMHO) exactly as it should be :D .
 
is there a blue bass thread? here are the two i've owned. still have the sadowsky. sold the benavente to a fellow tb'er. i think w/the vintage style setup & straight jazz control plate, the pickguard is absolutely appropriate. w/my standard, i don't think a guard would work. on yours, it's beautiful. very elegant. very traditional, in a good way. congratulations.
