My Cat made my AMP his scratching post!

Meet Blackjack....my one year old carpet covered amp destroying cat. I had a Yorkville combo that he practically clawed to shreds. Two months ago I bought a Markbass 151 combo. Well it didn't take the cat long to spot it and figure out how to pry open my jamroom door by bashing into it headfirst. Sollution? Double sided carpet tape. Wrap a few strips on the lower sides of the amp and presto....the cat moves on to some other scratcheable surface.

My cat claws sheets, towels, blankets, cardboard boxes, wood and just about anything else he can sink his paws into...

2. Take a steady grip on the amp.
3. Shake it with the power of thor.
4. Watch the cat pee it self and never even go close to the amp.

No they just Hork up hairballs on them...

My boyfriends cat's had a special relationship with him. They always left the hairballs on his side of the bed, right where he slept.
