I agree with all of you. Sheldon didn't like how the old knobs worked with the body lines, so he scratched them and made new ones. I am ever more impressed with his dedication and attention to detail.

my dad just got a Larrivee jumbo acoustic in mahogany, it's got that reddish hue, and the flamed maple binding is just about the most beautiful thing I've seen. I see you have this motif going too, it really looks nice.

Thanks for the comments guys, I really am getting anxious to see and hear this thing complete. Sheldon tested the FD-1 6 string pickups in a test bass today. He seems to be more than impressed with them.
