My ex is a lying cheating whore

Thankfully I am not in your shoes Chuck, but I've read the replies and there are a whole lotta good ones here.

I echo the positive sentiment: You can and should find peace and happiness to stick it to her! Not very Namaste' but what the hell?!

Good luck!

My 20 yr marriage ended this last April. She said she's changed.
Was a bit cruddy at first, but I met an awesome girl a Cuppla months ago & my ex IS very annoyed that I've fallen on me feet. She's the screwed one and I'm SO glad I'm outta that mess.
The only thing that's annoying is all the legal rigmarole. That's The BIG pain in the butt.

+1 on landing on your feet. Petty as it is, oftentimes the post-breakup period is a period of trying to show someone that the best revenge is a life well-lived. When my last serious girlfriend and I broke up, she would show up at some of my gigs and try to make me jealous. I didn't let it phase me and I know that it drove her insane. In fact, it did annoy me - not because I was jealous. Quite the opposite, in fact. I was annoyed that she was trying to make me jealous when I wasn't the jealous type, which goes to show that she really didn't know me. :hmm:

Anyways, when that band played its last show, she came to the gig and wished me luck in my next project and life. It was obvious by what she said and how she approached me that I had "won." Not that I was interesting in "winning"; I didn't wish her any ill will. But I just found the post-breakup games totally immature.

My first wife not only cheated on me, but she did it with my DRUMMER. The little skank broke up a marriage and a rhythm section at the SAME TIME.

I could forgive anything but a drummer! There's no fixing that! :hiding:

+1 at least you know now, cuz it was gonna happen eventually

Do not contact her at all. ESPECIALLY if she tries to contact you. It's partly healthy for you, but if she does it and gets nothing it will really get to her.

Sorry to hear this. No one deserves such a thing. I hope you feel better with each new day. Positive energy your way.

Well said!

Keep your head up Chuck and get some counseling if it's too much to handle on your own right now. It did me a world of good when my wife left.

Things will get better if you give it some time.

Yes, I smell a new club in the making...
