I know you from unofficial acoustic where I go by rikfenzonThat rubs salt in the wound. I can't imagine selling the 360 stack. I don't have a flight case, but I wouldn't know what to do with one of those anyway.

A couple of questions...
Have you signed anything from the company accepting their offer of two weeks notice?
Have you considered opening your own business and leveraging your industry experience and contacts? Why not become a professional consultant to the industry? You build your business, you manage your time and you pick and choose who you work for and for how long.
Sure beats having others make life changing decision on your behalf?

Which is expensive to prove. As has been discussed. I have never understood the logic of a corporate entity spending more money to cover up a mistake, which is essentially what fighting a suit about age discrimination would be, than it would cost to have avoided the mistake in the first place. From a distance, corporate behavior is often like a toddler having a greed fit and then a tantrum. Except you can't give the corporation a time out.
I spent months applying for entry-level retail and didn't have a single bite, and then an expert pointed out that I was doing one dumb thing wrong. Boom, next application got me two interviews and a job.
My company send us (supervisors) to a workplace training session. The person giving a talk did mention Google did get sued because an older worker felt discriminating by younger workers and Google didn't do anything about it. But, the consultant did remind us that it doesn't happen very often.Age discrimination is a very difficult thing to prove. But it happens a lot.
Can you elaborate on what advice the expert gave you and how you corrected it?
Good luck to you Zon!
Sorry to hear all this. Since the healthcare situation is complicated at retirement age. We work all our lives, medical is taken care of thru our employers.(most of us)Update :
Forced by Federal regulation to buy Medicare A&B or face penalty. Price based on my Former salary and may be updated next year. So much for turning 65
I apply for jobs/ send resumes daily
Can’t land an interview with$100 pinned to my shirt
Other than a handful of rejections it’s all crickets. If it was more silent I’d think I was in a vacuum
Applied for unemployment which is a bandaid on gushing wound imho may get 1/4 my net for a few months at best
Stay morose and depressed otherwise
