My Future Roscoe

Great minds think alike!! And I'm no longer a woman, so you can stop wondering!

Man I'd love to have both basses in the same room (say at the GTG) so we can hear the differences in the electronics. With both basses being so similar, that's about as good an A/B as you can do.

Come on Joe Barden!! Don't let me down!!

Where's my bass? Where's my bass? WHERE'S MY BASS?!?!

Man, I'm climbing the walls today for some reason. Got a couple nibbles on my Alembic, which means the Roscoe is not only spec'd out, it's almost paid for, too...

Heck, I'm already moving on to my next Roscoe... I've never owned a fretless, surely that situation needs to be remedied? Bye-bye Warwick Thumb NT if that happens :)

Breathe in, breathe out...

Mmmm. Roscoe & fretless go together like hot dogs & apple pie (or sushi & beer...toe-MAY-toe, toe-MAH-toe). I've told this story before, but... The most amazing sounding fretless I ever played/owned was a Zon Sonus Special/Custom. (Legacy Elite electronics with the neck pup in the sweet spot. Wicked.) Until I played my Roscoe. I'd sworn off 35" six-string fretlesseseseses because I couldn't play 'em in tune. But when I tried this one, I remembered...heck, I can't play any fretless in tune. :D My SKB sounds as amazing as it looks... What's that? A pic, you say? Oh, okay. :)

So, Greg, I'm just here to help (spend your $$). Keep breathing, brother!

Hey Greg, yeah as Gard stated I'm pullin' for a fretboard the same as the half n' half one you posted, BEM with some serious mineral staining! I really dig your wenge slice on your body, sexay! And yeah, great minds think alike!

I asked Roger at THG Knobs to make me a set of matching knobs for my Roscoe. I think they turned out killa-dilla!! Roger's a super dude, and his prices are very reasonable.

These were made from some scraps cut from my body (non-humping ones, thank goodness!!), so they should match quite nicely when all is said and done.

Imagine those knobs on this:
