If you feel it gets in the way, I wholly support you cutting TB out. As life has gotten more complicated in my adult life, I have had to really work hard to maximize my free time "efficiency". It's a continuing effort, but it can be done.
I will admit that I have it pretty easy though. I can surf while at work, so 99% of my TB'ing is done then. I usually pop in once in the evening, and maybe once or twice over the weekend. My home time is spent elsewhere than TB.

i'm following in stupid matts footsteps
i'm failing miserably
since i've sworn this stuff off, after those first 2 blissful days, the only thing different in my internat habit is that i'm not posting here because i don't want to look like an idiot.
i will not give up. it took me years to quit smoking. practice, practice, practice.... these ivory colored plastic and metal boxes before me shall not rule my life!
if i should break down and respond to another post, please be understanding, loving and supportive.
whatever - kick my ass, belittle me, laugh at me, if that's your style. i deserve whatever i get from here on.![]()

Joe, we're still supporting you. One of the things about TB that I like is that it gives me a chance to communicate and write. I used to write prolificly, but when the adult life hit me it went away. Now that I found TB, I have an opportunity to write and convey ideas. Plus there's plenty of people here to correct my grammar and spelling. Also, since I am still relatively new to the area I live in and am kept extremely busy by my work, wife, and band this is a nice escape for me. The problem is when it becomes a substitute.
So Joe, do what you have to do. We're behind you.

kook speak! there is not one person that I know that surfs that would use the word "Sick" unless they are total kook.

Heh, really? One of my friends, who lived in San Diego this past summer, said that she whenever she went to a surfer bar she'd hear "siiiiiiiiick!" a few dozen times per minute.
