Me and the artist talked about shading it or filling it in later. This design has a lot of room for growth.

It's crazy. I'm 26, this is my first tattoo and I'm already planning another one.

My wife thought I was super nerd for posting this the second I got home.

She got her 4th tattoo tonight as well and I am fairly certain it'll be on facebook by tomorrow.

I got my first tattoo in July 08. I was 28.

It was actually a piece for my 2 grandmothers (the 2 big roses)

I also have alot of love for the 50's. So my right arm is pretty much retro related tattoos.

My favorite....Marilyn Monroe.

I also have 2 swallows over the mic now and added some music notes. At the bend of my arm and bicep I have 57 Bel Air logo with checkered flags and a route 66 sign. Just haven't takin' pics of it.

I think that tattoo of the pickups is very cool. Could always be worked into a cool sleeve in the future. Tattoos are addictive and expensive. I also hate it when people say "you will regret it when you get older". Like James Dean said "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow". I live for today. If i regret them when I'm older, so what, at least I enjoyed my young life. I also have a great payin' job that doesn't care about tattoos.

Killer idea, just think all the circles should be identical, and where the screws are they should be identical too, the top one on the bottom looks a little wierd, anyway if you shade it in it should help.......

As previously posted,tattoos are very addictive,for some people.Evey single tattoo I have is bass related(And yes,I'm proud to say,I do not have a bass clef!!)I've got over $600.00 invested in a 1/4 sleeve of Iron Maiden's mascot,"Eddie,"playing a Spector(my dream bass) bass.The detail in it is absolutely incredible.Looking back,I wish I'd spent that money on gear.I just always make sure when I get one that it's not exposed when I wear a short-sleeve shirt,so I can look "presentable"at work.My job is blue-collar as it gets.But,I'm shooting for a bossing job.

I wonder if you could actually mount pups apart like that?You may have started a trend,in the way P-Bass pups are positioned on basses.

All you need now is a bridge on your shoulder, nut and machine heads inside your wrist and strings stretched between.

When will people realise that tats are hand drawn "sketches" not photographs. If the gap between the pups is a little wide, who cares, i don't. Its your arm, your skin, YOUR tat. I love all the flaws in my tats, they make them my tats.

Why people insist on pointing them out, F***ing annoys me.
