It's pretty subtle, but any other bass player would know what it was..

I had a similar idea....4 tribal bands around my arm, with different thicknesses

Figured I'd post my non clef bass tattoo. I have a bass clef worked into one of my other tattoos too though.

I personally love it. I think the spacing is fine. I would skip the wiring idea though.
