Double Bass My New Bass.

So here it is. I got it at KC Strings. Its the greatest bass ever and its mine!

Here is what i know. it says made in czechoslovakia, which means as a completed bass its newer than 1921. There are two repair stickers in it, one from 1946 and one from 1954.

It had hat peg tuners, and is a Karl Knilling. No serial number.

Its sound is HUGE. REAL BIG. Great for Jazz.

Congrats! Looks to be early 20th Century. I had a similar one about the same vintage a while ago and it too pulled a big sound. Is there a neck block with yours? Mine was a typical 'blockless wonder' and a very decent bass under the bow.
