Sidelined due to work stuff, hoping to take some vacation before the end of the year and get the new pickup holes cut, that's the next step really. Got all the parts, just need to make some time and get it done.

Still sitting in the back corner of my bedroom awaiting me to build up the nerve / skillz to make some pickup rings out of maple and then dying them black. Terrified of the thought of taking the router to that top, need lots of practice first (and haven't been doing it). Still on the lookout for a black pickup and pickguard though.
I see this is an old thread, but I’ve got a question: I’d like to replace the gold speed knobs on my BlackJack with black ones. What exactly should I be ordering, and what’s a good source? I noticed that some knobs are metric, some not… some are fine or rough on the inside.
