My new Sadowsky is Crap!!!!

You know... it's simplistic, plain appearance has a hell of an appeal to me. It's very understated, and elegant. Not showing off, not an extravagant finish, and certainly not shaped like a freakish stroke of imagination. It's a very solid comfortable looking bass. Clean solid white works perfectly for that bass.

I could easily find myself playing an instrument like that, to contrast my tastes for really aggressive, wild designs.

is it just me, or does it weird you out when you get a new bass and people tell you that they played it before and that it's awesome. that's like when one of your girlfriend's old boyfriends tells you to blow in her ear cause it drives her wild.

well, according to my ears, the larger nordie's arent as aggressive, but have a fuller, fatter bigger sound. quite awesome in that bass.

I agree with J. Big, smooth, loud!! Lots of output. Its a great pickup. Ive used less bass boost on this Sadowsky then any I've owned. Chances are its the pickups. Fat and full. Cant wait to hear them in my 24/4 order!

yup,

and that black "modern 4" looking is simply outstanding.

if anyone's thinking about getting a "modern" series bass, these are the pickups to get! the slap sound isnt nearly as "doinky" or pointed, but that thick midrangey fingerstyle tones are just as punchy and thick.
