My new Sadowsky is Crap!!!!

uuuuuhhhhhhhhhh aren't you forgetting somebody???

:hiding:

I bought it first and it was a bit too noisy when the PUPS weren't dead centered so I returned it....NOW I am wondering if it was the place I used it (small project recording studio). I only got a chance to really try it briefly before I had to make the decision to keep it or not...Maybe the Gods gave me some dirty AC or something so you could get it? LOL! Not sure but anyway I am REALLY glad that you got it! Great playing bass and probably the lightest 5 string I have ever seen....I may wake up one day and regret not keeping that one too...LOL!

Play her in good health!

 :D :hyper: :) :D

Peace,

T

The single coils in my Sadowsky Standard 5 have more noise in my house than anywhere else due to the AC. In the TV studio they are very quiet.
Congrats on the new bass Rob. Keep Rockin

HI

Another update. Just acquired an Epifani UL1x15 to go along with my UL2x10(3x10 is for sale). I used the combo this weekend with my NYC 4 and the new NYC 5er. The 5 has more of a natural bottom to it. Asked Roger about it and he says its the mass of the 5 string neck that makes it deeper. Funny thing is, the 4 is heavier so the whole attitude about heavier has more bass or whatever is a myth to me. Ive felt this always

Of course I prefer 4's but this 5 is off the charts. So easy to play, love the tone with the Nordstrands, light as a feather. Its a pleasure to gig. My singer took a couple songs off and listened in front for a while. I asked him if it sounded as good out there as on stage. He commented "yea, every note is just so even. You dont lose any volume as you go from low to high, string to string"

Perfect way to describe these basses. So well balanced.

Anyways, I'm pleased for sure. Hopefully this cures my 5 string G.A.S. for another few years. 4 string G.A.S., thats another story

HI

My best friend is in Medfield and we gig in Boston sometimes. Invite me to a GTG sometime. Id love to come

Rob

Will do, Rob! Check out the pics from the RI-GTG held last fall. We had none other than Major Metal himself up from NYC, Bryan Tyler and Joe Turski from CT and several other RI and MA TBers. It was hosted by fellow Sad-nut Andy (AJ) Brown. The next RI-GTG is tentatively scheduled for sometime in June/July. I'll have my new Sad NYC Standard 5 (Mahogany/Ebony) there (check recently sold #4709) and Andy should have his new Tiger's Eye NYC 5er there...

It should be a good time! I'll keep you posted as we get closer.
