My New Studio Build (perhaps overly detailed)

While it’s true that they WOULD enjoy climbing on them. The reality is that they’re not allowed in the studio.I bet that the cats will love climbing on the acoustic treatments. From their perspective, you built a wonderland full of interesting surfaces just for them.
You can’t blame them, you like climbing as well.
I’m up on Orcas Island for my wife’s birthday. We’ve been hiking and indulging in too much good food, and yet somehow my mind keeps wandering back to the studio. So... Sunday I’m going to hammer out the trim paint first thing. Break for breakfast and a haircut at 11:00. When I get back and the paint has dried enough I’m going to build these little corner trim pieces for the corner bass traps and then get to hanging acoustic treatments. If all goes well I’ll finish hanging the treatments on New Year’s Day, and SHOULD have enough time to move into the main room. I’ll be cutting it close, but I’m hoping it’s possible.

I built these little corner trim pieces to make the corner traps look more finished.
Thousands of years from now, archeologists will unsuccessfully attempt to translate those hieroglyphs.
I think it translates to “Mr. Drummer, you need to stay on the beat!”
Corners are in. The room is still pretty lively.
Progress is once again on-hold pending a response from GIK on an issue I’m having with my treatments. I’m waiting to comment on the issue I’m having publicly until I get their response. More to come, but I suspect my move-in date just slipped a few more days... again... 
Discussed things with GIK. Still on-hold pending their next response. Still withholding details until I hear their response. Sorry for being cryptic. I’m going to change my plans and continue working on the vestibule in the meantime.

They look like a repeating pattern. I’m guessing some sort of binary alien language. Probably a cure for all our earthly ills.
A pre CBS P-Bass tort pickguard will most likely provide a Rosetta Stone-like translation.
Radio silence from GIK today after I sent them a mile long email yesterday regarding the as-yet-to-be-disclosed issue I'm having. If they haven't responded by the weekend I'll be more forceful in my communication.
