There is a difference between the shortest day of the year (winter solstice) and the sunrise/sunset times.

Just got confirmation that the mini split system will be delivered tomorrow. Evidently the entire package weighs 145 pounds
Hopefully it comes on a palette or is shipped in multiple boxes.
Nice looking drywall lift.
I bought a drywall lift cheap from harbor freight. Sold it online when I got done using it. Lost about $100.
I’m planning on that method for several of the tools I’ve bought for this job.
It’s on a palette. It’ll occupy my wife’s parking space until I can get home, break it from and get it out of the way.
Gable end drywall ledgers have been removed and correctly reinstalled on the north end of the structure. There are literally two more boards that need to be installed before ALL of the framing tasks for the structure are complete.
If my motivation holds out I'll get those last two boards up to finish off the ceiling drywall ledgers on the south end of the building tonight. After that it's back to finishing up the insulation. Even if I don't do any insulation tonight I'll still feel very accomplished for having the framing tasks completed.
Nope. The only remaining inspections are potentially related to final sign-off on electrical. Actual building inspections are all complete and signed off by the city as final.
Ladies and gentleman... All framing tasks in the studio are officially, and finally... COMPLETE!!!
All of the exterior insulation is now done... for the second time 
Tomorrow I’m planning on knocking out the partition wall insulation. I thought I was out of 16” R21, but found two more bags in my storage shed that I’d forgotten about. No stopping me now!

Upcoming tasks:
- Insulate partition wall
- Clean EVERYTHING out of the studio, get rid of all the trash, and sweep it thoroughly in preparation for...
- Put down a layer of Green Glue and 7/16” plywood over the entire subfloor to create a mass and damping sandwich, which will be my first official sound isolation task of this project. Consider me excited.
Small 10' U-Haul box truck reserved for Saturday to go and pick up all of the plywood and sheet rock. Reservations are a great motivator to stay on schedule
It's not taking the reservation, it's keeping the reservation that's the problem. 
Don’t get green glue on anything you plan on keeping. I have a bucket that is still stuck 2 years later.
The booties can save your shoes. When I paint the disposable coveralls come in handy.

Thanks Mr. SeinfeldIt's not taking the reservation, it's keeping the reservation that's the problem.
Good advice. I went with the tubes rather than the buckets. I could have saved a little bit going with buckets but I assumed the slightly higher cost was worth it in terms of minimizing clean-up.
I have dedicated "studio construction" clothes at this point. If they get absolutely covered and ruined I won't care. They're going in the bin as soon as the project is complete.
