Is there green glue between the 2 layers of the inner leaf?

Flying the second layer of the inner leaf’s lid at the south end of the building. Getting this done will allow me to do the south wall next and minimize the amount of stockpile rearrangement necessary to keep rolling along.

Only in so much as the floor will be a laminate wood product that's not too dark, the walls will be painted some color, the trim will be really big and white, the electrical fixtures will be oiled bronze, and the acoustic treatments will have a wood facing of some sort. Well... Either that or what @Microbass has suggested

Yep. Two tubes per 4x8 sheet, or in the case of my eave to ridge dimension, two tubes per 48x81 sheet.

I’ve got something similar in my sunroom. The lights in the studio are track lighting so I can customize the brightness and angle as needed. I still need to pick out the fixtures.

I’m just being a pest tbh..! When I’ve been in a studio I want a professional look and feel - no gimmicks. Puts everyone even after they’ve done their bit that they are there for a reason. I know you’ll put in what you think is right it’ll be an amazing place to go record in.

Makes think you’ll need to host a GTG for a a rainy BBQ and some beers!

Tonight’s rehearsal got cancelled. Time to fly some more ceiling panels!

With any lighting, it’s important that the fixture be solid enough that it doesn’t vibrate or rattle.

I had six standard size (E26) LED bulbs that must have been susceptable to vibration. The bulbs were expensive and had a long life warranty. They only lasted about two months. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep the paperwork or receipt.

Southern edge of the lid is done. That means I can knock out the southern wall without needing to move my drywall stockpile. Going to knock that out this weekend.

Making progress. I suspect I underestimated the amount of hat channel this project will need. The end walls (north and south) have a lot more cuts/waste than I’d expected, so I’m going through boxes at a scary rate. Some of the cuts will be used to join full pieces on the longer side walls (east and west), but still... might need some more. Better do a check of clips and putty pads too!

Clips and hat channel are done on the south wall. I think (fingers crossed) that I got all of the placements right for the butt seams to work out. I’ll know when I start putting up panels tomorrow.
