Sometime during yeterday's rehearsal of our jazz-ish duo my recently delivered Ibanez AFB200 in solid black became my #1.

My current number one. 2001 stingray 4h with birdseye neck. Got super lucky on a trade with this one with a fairly local shop. $200 and some Guild Thunderbass cabs and head I was all for it. I am fairly new to bass and have been lurking here for a bit now. Love all the great people and helpful tips!

My ‘98 Warwick ProM. It was originally cherry red, but a little elbow grease brought it down to a natural finish, nourished with some tinted Tru Oil and wax. Strung with EB Cobalt flats and the MEC preamp has been replaced with an SD circuit. I love this thing - and it’s not too heavy for a Warwick! View attachment 4674757

yeah, she's got a stunner in that one --- that ax always catches my eye.

there are quite a few axes posted around on TB that always impress me no matter how many times i see them. and they're always the ones that i know are getting played!

Current number 1. Until I got this last fall, I didn’t really have a number 1, I played 5 or 6 different ones, it just depended on how I was feeling. But, this thing is so sweet and everyone talks about it constantly.

My #1 is a Pj too.

Completely stock EBMM Sterling. Around 2013 I believe. It replaced my '89 Warwick Streamer as gigging bass.
This thing just thrives in a band. Cuts through the mix, built like a tank but with a bit smaller body than a 'ray and with the jazz neck size I'm used to.
Easy to operate, always sounds great with the rest of the boys.

Just can't forget to bring a spare 9V battery..

Here's Jack, my old, beaten and heavily modified Giannini SG bass. It was probably made in the 70's and its growl is unlike any other bass of its kind.

The name of this bass is a tribute for the late and great Jack Bruce.
