I am so excited to finally see it in person in 24 hrs! It is very
different in color scheme from my other instruments. The sound...

BTW-If it is permitted to hijack my own thread:
I have a 44-01 which I use a lot. It has the Korean Preamp.
Which onboard Preamp are you using in your 44-01? :p :p :p

You know it is bad when you make FedEx your new home page.... I just got my Fender in the mail, now my home page can go back to normal. :)

Wow Jim, you are waaaay too nice to me. My Sadowsky, though, does deserve some praise!! Sounds like you are gonna have a very similar bass, so I know it's gonna kill. I have only used the Sadowsky nickels (45-105) on mine since I got it, if that is something you are wondering.

Congratulations man. You are in for one hell of a bass. Can't wait to see some pics and hear what you think after playing it.

I will send you an email in the next day or two.

Reply and photos are coming. Just used the bass for a 3 hour rehearsal,
and have a rehearsal and broadcast Monday.

I'm trying to gather my thoughts....
Needless to say the chances of this bass going back to Sadowsky are
zero! :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :bassist:

Pics will come. Nino is right, it is hard to depict the dark cherry over the quilt....

I had a Lull P5 that was deep transparent blue over quilt, with a white pearl guard. Its beauty was also hard to capture... the blue often looked close to black. Outdoors in sunlight worked best for me. Good luck, 'cuz I can't wait to see yours! :)

I have the Korean one too.Sorry for the late answer,I wasn't around for a couple of days. :smug:

BTW,you have a 44-01 and your next bass is a Sadowsky,so I'm going to have a Sadowsky next right? :hyper:
