Thanks. I absolutely love them both andcan't imagine selling either of them. I am probably going to switch the Midnight Wine one to a JJ and leave the Carmel Burst as a Reversed PJ.

IMO, essential! But, that depends on the artist you play with of course. Many can get away with a four but playing with a female artist (like I do) the songs tend to beg for B string usage based on the key of the songs AND as a great pad/bed for the higher register vocals. Listen to Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, etc.. and you will find a lot of deep and low bass.

I would say that you definitely need to get yourself a Sadowsky PJ5 to match up with this beauty of yours. ;) :bassist:

Congrats again Jim,

Roger should include this review in the website ASAP. It is very informative, passionate and fun to read.

I'm not a fan of exotic tops, but the dark cherry finish makes this one exactly what you described: A classic look from a distance and an elegant, high class look up close.

Gorgeous Sad Doc! I really liked your review. It captured much of what I love about my P-Bass, even though I'm sure they sound a bit different with my nickel rounds and soapbar pup in the P-Bass position.

There really is something very special about these basses. I am also glad you recognized Kevin D for his tireless work. He really knows his business and is VERY patient.

Congrats and enjoy. Now we can see which of us will buy his second one first! LOL!

Thanks BigMike! I am so flattered you read it all. Tonight my grumpy
sound guy (is there any other kind?!) was silent during the sound check.

Afterwards, his first remark was, "That bass has more output than the
Lakland." But I suspect he tipped his hand later, when he jokingly
informed me that the "show is going order you a Behringer, ha ha!" :rollno:

Since they are a sponsor, my lips are sealed! :hiding: :hiding: :hiding:

I love the look of your bass, as I am a P-bass lover. I'll bet that soap
bar sounds great, and that your bass can do a lot of very rich, quiet,
and punchy tones. How are you liking it?

Kevin IS an amazing guy: a bassist, a patient Sadowsky
representative, a web dude, and also a good writer. If you haven't
read his Sadowsky reviews on BRGA.net, I highly recommend them.
