My Wife Died Yesterday

Man, I am so sorry for you loss. There are no words to express how saddened to hear this I am. Prayers for you and your family.

Guess it takes me + 5 pages but.. what happened? If you're ok with sharing that. The post is pretty vague, and she was very young.

Sorry to hear for your loss :(

She has systematic lupus, and had a surgery last week on her lower esophagus to help her to quit throwing up all the time.
I thought she would feel so much better, and ...... now she's dead. If the hospital just would have kept her a couple of days longer for observation. :crying:

She loves bass guitars too :bawl:

Oh Brother, you have my deepest sympathies.

If you find it suitable, maybe you'd like to tell us about your wife and share a favorite memory.

I pray for some peace of mind for you and yours during this difficult time.

:bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:

April Allison Otterson 11/9/63 - 3/5/10 :crying: :crying: :crying:

I can't even begin to imagine the cavern of sorrow you're in right now. :(

As others have alluded, please reach out to family and close friends.

You must not be alone in your current and understandably fragile state.

And please avoid alcohol etc--seriously...

Suggestions:

- Put pen to paper and make a list of unfinished responsibilities/reasons to carry on.

- Google around for a widowers support group in your area.

- Try to find a way to become a care giver to someone else. Investing/preoccupying yourself in helping with their problems will help to supply you with some respite from your own grief.

You must continue...
