Someone is looking to buy that particular Hyperbass I believe. TB member portraitoftracy (Ari) was looking to re-purchase his old mostly-lined Hyperbass, and it looks like that's the one. Give him a PM or email if you want to sell it- he had an ad in the Bassgear.com classified that sounded like he really wanted it back.

OK OK, we're just being silly. We definitely drove this thread off the tracks though, sorry bout that quantum! You know I love you devilman, just have to bust your balls a little!! ;)

Thats a pretty sweet hyperbass, I dunno if I'd give it up! which version is it (1, 2 or 3)? basically, does it have a detunable bridge or piezos in the body?

Thats the roscoe. there are some pics of the Nordy somewhere in the Nordy thread, if you're interested I can send some yer way.

It's a straight ahead Version 1 Hyperbass without the detuners or piezo pickups. It reads "DWOH" on the headstock for the gentleman that it was custom built for.

Here's a vid of Ron Royce from Coroner in action with his Scepter. His tone & chops kill. I remember buying R.I.P. in '87 & Punishment in '88...I wore those tapes OUT! Awesome band...

Finding the four Scepters has been the equivalent to finding four '58 Gibson Explorers in my mind: I enjoy them tremendously and they are prized possessions that get played regularly I might add.

MaskedJackal, I love Ron's tone with Coroner also.

The Quilted Maple and Granite finished Scepters are great slappers!

The Goncalo Alves with Black Hardware and Koa with Gold Hardware Scepters are better for fast fingerstyle runs.

I'm blessed in many ways and the Scepter collection is treasured very much!
