You might want to consider taking it to a good amp tech.
At vol "4" it should blow the windows out of your house, even with one cab.
These things are no question killer LOUD!
Even my little tube 200s will cause household mayhem at 4.
Isn't there some sort of a Fender legacy involved here? This would mean that today's "flat" sound would be all eq controls "dimed" in your amp. Or, am I completely mistaken? It may go to eleven for all I know...
No, I'm pretty sure that all controls at noon = flat in this amp. Since the eq controls are basically active, and they are not interactive with each other the same way that older amps are, I would assume that noon pretty much means flat, and to me, that's what it sounds like.
