Since we tackled the difficult question earlier about bands that everyone loves... why not go the other direction with it and name bands that no one seems to like. A band that you have never heard people mention, never seen a fan of, etc...
I'll go first; Nelson
Nickleback is like porn. Apparently more people listen to it than will admit.
How about musicians that are, how shall we say.... personally unpleasant, regardless of the quality of the music?
Liam Gallagher
Shaun Ryder
Morrisey
John Lydon
Courtney Love
Axl Rose
Lou Reed
I don't think anyone ever described Frank Zappa as a warm and compassionate human being.
Would you want to get stuck in a tour bus with David Lee Roth?
Any time I hear of Nelson I'm taken back in time to the glorious late 80s/early 90s when MTV ruled the cable waves with Beavis & Butthead. They were watching videos and Nelson came on. Beavis said, "Those chicks look like guys!"
I you like Nirvana, we can't be friends.... unless you have beer..... or cookies.... cookies with no raisins.
I like Nirvana a lot, think Cobain was a very talented songwriter and that their music will hold up over many decades far better than so many bands.I you like Nirvana, we can't be friends.... unless you have beer..... or cookies.... cookies with no raisins.
Singer was Kiki Dee. Truly they were bad. But, did ya know in the late 70's a punk band from Finland remade that song? They did it sort of sarcastically. And it was awesome!!! The band was Briard - later on the members of that band formed into Hanoi Rocks. So, even though Middle of the Road was horrible, they did inspire a a bunch of good stuff. Ya can never tell!
Imagine a band featuring banjo, accordion, and bagpipes, with Yoko Ono singing....
LOL...That's NOT Kiki Dee
Kiki Dee was a very good singer
How bout the duet with Elton John?
