Nickleback is like porn. Apparently more people listen to it than will admit. And after a little research the latest release (2017) was their first album since their 1996 debut to not go platinum.

Got lot's of respect for Sam Rivers - he came up with some tasty bass lines! And I don't know about Limp Bizkit, I think their Chocolate Starfish is a modern classic. Anything else, either before or after, I don't like much.
Yeah, that makes Nickelback the porn of music. And after a little research the latest release (2017) was their first album since their 1996 debut to not go platinum.
Well that’s a bit unsettling
I move that this too obscure and weird to be considered. It has to have mainstream appeal IMHO to be famous enough to be hated.
Im pretty sure there’s an entire dorm of kids at FSU or some such place that trade Hootie bootlegs.Hootie and the Blowfish. Not really a band, but Jodeci has to be in the mix.
It helps if you use Wikipedia. I figured the article on yacht rock would yield some possibilities. Somehow Sugar Ray showed up on that article.OH JEEZIS I forgot about Sugar Ray! You're right. I kneel to your genius.
I you like Nirvana, we can't be friends.... unless you have beer..... or cookies.... cookies with no raisins.
You’re thinking wrong. It’s not about whether you like the band. It’s about the fact that they somehow got famous and huge even though no one will admit to liking them. Van Halen doesn’t fit that profile.Van Halen. Hate that band
...Kiss. Can’t for the life of me figure out why people are willing to actually pay money to listen to that.
