Really dig the FooFIghters, and the thought (sarcasm on) of ANOTHER P-Bass is SOOOOOO awesome......(sarcasm off).
Wow Fender, awesome!![]()
This seems be one of his stage bass last months...Highway?

Btw He never said LAKLANDS > FENDER, from what I understand he said that CS copies of his red 71 P bass are better.
I dont know if its was mentioned, but his 71 Pbass has special mix between Jazz/Precision neck, which have been made only for 6 months (see Nate Mendel fender video)
Not interested in any way.
I love Nate and am a Fender guy, but I have seen the Foos live many times..... He is not a Fender guy at all IMO. He plays Lakland almost always.
Kinda like having an Alex Lifeson Signature Telecaster.... Just because he uses a Tele for one song live!
FrenchAK said:I've seen him play Laklands and Fenders, Jazzes and Precisions. No matter what he uses, I'm glad he's getting a sig model - he deserves it. He's a great bass player, no two ways about it. One of my favorites.
It's funny how people look down on those who overplay, and when someone truly serves the song, and not their egos, they're still looked down on. Obviously, Mendel has chops - but Foo Fighters has three guitarists, and IMO he plays what needs to be played.
Great band, incredible musicians. I'm not one for signature models, but I may give this a spin.
...The road worn things are ridiculous also who the hell wants a new instrument looking like ****!!!
Never understood why anyone would not take normal good care of their instrument, quality tools are not cheap and their working order is depended on by others too.
Not sure where the ruff em an scuff look became cool but to me it looks like an absence of pride and taste. Probably another one of those generational things??? hahahaha! Doc

hahahahahhahahaha
Looks like it has one of the Schaller roller bridges and a Duncan QP (SPB-3) pickup.can't believe no one has posted a pic yet...I think this is it.
