I don't know what else to say. They were all touching at the same time. In the vid I linked you can see his hand causing the ball to spin while it's on the backboard.

I'm going to have to agree with lo-freq here. It has to all happen simultaneously or else it is not a goal tend. Even in the NBA's last 2 minute report, it is cited as a correct no call. So if the NBA says it ain't a goal tend then it probably isn't. I'm still pretty shocked that they made zero incorrect calls down the last 2 minutes though. Props to refs again.

I heard something interesting on the radio today. The Bay Area has hosted the finals for the three major sports in 2016, and each time another team won the title.
While the Super Bowl was a neutral site game, the NHL and NBA teams watched the opposing team win it all in their building. Must be rough.
