NBD: 1990 Wal Mk1 (Pic heavy)

In the midst of a quest to find his "End Game" Black Poly Wal, my dear friend @Maedros decided to graciously let me adopt his gorgeous 1990 Curly Birdseye Maple Mk1 Wal. Having gone through a bit of a personal rough patch that forced me to send off my Darkstar Jazz basses to another dear friend @frankegcbass this was wonderful timing.

Here's to hoping GAS never happens again. Long Live 4 strings, long live TB and long live Pugs!

Could you explain the controls there seems to be a lot going on with that preamp. I love these basses I just don't play well enough to do a beauty like this justice.

It's a volume knob, a blend knob and two "tone" knobs that are low pass filters for each pickup. The volume knob can be pulled out for "pick attack", the tone knobs can as well-there's so many tones and sounds in this thing. I am still wrapping my head around them all!

Thanks friend! Side note: Just got a Compact Faye Sing myself and I am absolutely loving it, hope you decide to keep it. They are lovely phasers.

Many TB members would tell you to stop at 4. I'm sure that gentleman's a heck of a bass player, but what is that? A harp? I saw Spock play something like it on Star Trek once.
