:D I had another thread saying that I finally found this bass, again, after buying a StingRay instead when I had a chance at one of these. I'm really happy about this one...

I've been wanting one of these for a while and glad to finally have one in my hands! :hyper: It's been a long time coming and now it's finally here. Got a GREAT deal on it, too.

Now I got to figure out what to name it...

beauty ... ! ... frets look similar to my newer used Fender P/J , where someone leveled them but didn't crown them after ... I picked up a fairly cheap crowning file from StewMac ... makes pretty simple work of crowning ... then smooth/polish ...

The neck on my blonde has similar figuring, very beautiful. I wonder if they were built around the same time. The first five digits of the serial number on my blonde is 11121___. I mention this out of curiosity as the neck on my sunburst one is not nearly as pretty.
