..Mine neck # is 1102......does fender make there necks in order when there doin a special run of basses..?

Once again, I am in love. How does she sound? Deep and punchy? Good definition?
Strings are dead so I gotta get out and put some of my favorites on it but in spite of the dirty strings it still has definition and, yes, "deepness" and punchiness
So I can't wait to hear it with my favorite strings on though!

It's wierd though that Fender is commemorating (?) the 60th Ann releasing a bass that never really was made with that pickguard and that pickup. I have a Mike Dirnt that has that combo. Love em both even tho.
I totally agree, they are beautiful Basses. I traded a "Mint" 2013 Mystic blue American standard P-Bass and a few $$ for the Blonde model. A friend of mine@ Fender said 1600 of the Blonde were made, and about 125 of the Sunburst were made for Guitar Ctr. I will warn you that the "thin-skined" finish will chip or mark fairly easy, and don' leave it on a rubber guitar stand for very long as it will eat into the finish.I have come to the accept that flaw as giving it "Character". It's definitely one of my "Forever" Basses..Mikael Wilt
I know they aren't remotely the same but it reminds me of my Squier Classic Vibe
I took mine out for my Sunday morning church and when I took it out from my car (it was -8 out) into the warm church, the headstock started finish cracking.
Pardon my ignorance but I live in the South US. How does this happen? Is this normal when drastic changes in temperature happen?
This is my first bass to have this happen, I think it is from the drastic weather change so quickly
Yup, should've pop'd the latches and let it adjust a bit more than I did, but it isn't super devastating, I don't plan on getting rid of it and I think it looks kinda cool

Well, it's two years later and I still have & love my Fender Blonde 60th anniversary model Precision Bass. I recently purchased a Tagima TW-66 Bass that is almost identical in appearance to the Blonde 60th Anniversary model. I posted a review of it on Talk Bass recently. It's far from the quality & sound & price of the Fender model, but it's perfect for playing around with in doing some modding & experimenting without breaking the bank or messing with my Fender model...
Is this the 3rd year ? I was reading earlier about the serial numbers on these models, It's a 2011 model, but my serial number is a 2010 ?????
