It was my 20th year of sobriety in January and my yearly anniversary is my "pass" for a new bass.

I am not a PBass guy, but that is killer. I would rock that all day.So I just had to do this. It was my 20th year of sobriety in January and my yearly anniversary is my "pass" for a new bass.![]()
It is, the Jazz.WOAH.
What's the purple bass? AC sig or...?
Well played good sir!I am a 'Friend of Bill' also; 20yrs December 2019 got myself a Fender Ultra Precision![]()
Outstanding sir on 30+ and you are correct about that! That is so cool! I've been craving a bass that looks exactly like that, but haven't found one I felt like pulling the trigger on. Excellent taste! It is fantastic how much our taste (and everything else) improves once our eyes and minds clear up. Congrats! (30+ years)
Congrats back to youWell done on the 20 years clean! I passed 24 years on Jan. 31 so I'm qualified to state that you are sober but still addicted...................to P basses! (We can all see the collection behind your new bass.)
A Jazz type bass could be the "methadone" for your habit. Ha!
Two years is no small feat man, good on you! If you woke up before me today, you got me beat. That's all there is.I am not a PBass guy, but that is killer. I would rock that all day.
Congrats on the bass and on the 20 years. I am in my infancy of sobriety. 2 years this month.
Thanks for the wishes and I hope I have but at least I know I haven't messed any more up and that's good. Best to you.Congratulations on your 20 years of sobriety, I’ll wager in that time you have affected many lives positively by your example. Beautiful bass, I love that neck/fingerboard. Wishing you quick healing for your finger. God bless.
That's sweet looking! So I just had to do this. It was my 20th year of sobriety in January and my yearly anniversary is my "pass" for a new bass. This was the one. I can't say enough good things about it. I thought my '58 AVRI P was the one I would get buried with but now I'm not so sure. I apologize in advance for the dang flash photography, but it's dark out so just trust me...it's lovely. The color I've seen everywhere on line is waaay yellow compared to the actual deal so I did the best I could without natural light. Amazingly easy set up, super low and silky! Fit and finish is top notch, neck is just right on the official "chunk-o-meter" so not too fat, not too thin... substantial C. Got it set up, played it for an hour or so then went to E.R. to get infected finger (unrelated injury) drained and a tetanus shot...but it was the best hour EVER! Life's funny sometimes.
Anyway, here.View attachment 3743213 View attachment 3743214 View attachment 3743215

Focus on the good you’ve done. Forgiveness deeper than the ocean, sins forgotten as far as from the East us from the West, that’s what our Savior does for those who love him and seek his heart. That’s the Good News. Thanks for the wishes and I hope I have but at least I know I haven't messed any more up and that's good. Best to you.
Congrats back to you on your time! Perhaps this color is more up your alley?View attachment 3744343
I saw your avatar and thought you might be ok with itOh my goodness, that is GORGEOUS!!! Is that a Steve Harris signature with a tug bar and anodized gold pickguard?
