NBD... but bummed!

Probably because they would have to secure nicer looking wood for natural and sunburst finishes whereas it doesn't matter what the grain looks like for a solid paint finish.
I think that probably explains why the natural finish is more expensive, but I'm guessing that the 3-color burst is probably a more time-consuming and expensive finish to manufacture.
 
Of course, not until I get home do I noticed that the bass has a little bit of neck dive! Kind of irritating! Guess I can get a suede strap to remedy the problem. Any other suggestions?

As a kind of ironic solution considering the issue of the first bass, but maybe some new light weight tuners?
