NBD: Buttercream goodness

I'm keeping mine stock.

When I saw it originally, I felt that it was perfect for me just as it was.

When I played it, I felt the same way except for I wanted to put some flats on it. I wanted a Jazz with flats and a Jazz with rounds. I have DR Black Beauty rounds on my Squier VM 70's Jazz. I put a set of Chromes on my Fender. The strings are the only thing that I am changing on my Player Jazz. YMMV.

This is the Sweetwater photo of mine.

If the neck are rosewood, the black, dark tort or dark spitfire pick guard are great match.

White pickguard already make this butter cream body + maple fretboard look nice.
I believe the Aged Yellow Cream Pearl pickguard work on it alOng with tug bar add.

I put a black control plate on mine (natural) with DR Black Beauties and that was it :) (will not post picks to hijack the thread).

lol Thought I was being original with that idea. I'm sure it looks incredible like that. I'd planned to completely black mine out before I even bought it, but even knowing other people are doing that, I still plan to. The Black Beauties are a nice final touch, I must say.

Really love this color! I also have a Player Series P bass and can't believe how good these basses are. zero flaws on this one and no sharp edges at all, sounds killer too. These new alnico Vs they are putting in these are some of the best pickups Ive heard yet. Vintage sound but a bit of a modern vibe too. These Player Series are just as good, if not better, than the MIA standards from just a few years ago IMO. If you are on the fence about one of these new P or J basses, get one!
