NBD: Buttercream goodness

My old bass teacher had the original 70’s jazz with the same colour scheme except his had the white pickup covers. I loved that bass.

Really love this color! I also have a Player Series P bass and can't believe how good these basses are. zero flaws on this one and no sharp edges at all, sounds killer too. These new alnico Vs they are putting in these are some of the best pickups Ive heard yet. Vintage sound but a bit of a modern vibe too. These Player Series are just as good, if not better, than the MIA standards from just a few years ago IMO. If you are on the fence about one of these new P or J basses, get one!

Nice bass! The Player Series are nice. But after I picked up a 60s Jazz, no comparison. What a great neck, feel, and the pups were very impressive! To each their own, I guess.

Thanks guys! Keeping the white guard for sure because I already have a tort guard on my Ocean Turquoise P bass, so having a white guard on this gives a different look.

White looks great on that bass

Fender MIM basses are some of the best they have to offer right now. They really stepped up on this series.

I love that pastel colors are making such a comeback on guitars and basses. I also like the white pick guard (although I'm a sucker for white pearl).

Nice. I have a MIM precision now and honestly the only thing I liked better about the MIA precision was the bridge. Would much rather spend $50 upgrading a MIM with a KickAss bridge than shell out MIA money. I’m sure the graphite rods are great but I’ve never had a problem with a neck twisting and last time I tweaked the truss rod was a year ago and the relief is still right where I want it.

fine looking ax! i think it looks great the way it is but bhendrix 's suggestion of a black pickguard could be worth investigating. no matter --- i'm sure it will be a player! congratulations on your new instrument!
