I own one in aqua blue. It is fantastic. The color definitely has more of a green hue than most of the stock pictures. The quality of construction is amazing. Highly recommend it.

au contraire. I have four B4FLs as my gigging stable and I’ll put any of them up against any other bass on the planet.

Once a company's reputation is tarnished it takes a long time to recover. Some never do. Putting out inferior instruments links your brand to them. Regardless of how many stellar instruments you make, consumers will remember the firewood and remain skeptical. In general, Asian manufacturers have improved exponentially in a short time. They shouldn't be dismissed over their humble beginnings.

It's very easy if you never play up there.

Cort makes really good stuff - the reason you may not know so much about them is most of the stuff that you've seen that they make has other people's names on the headstock.

What is the neck profile like? Can’t seem to find any info on this anywhere. I am looking at pulling the trigger on one of the new Elements. I’m not that picky except that I cannot really do the super-slim/“fast”-60s type of profiles like many Ibby’s and Laklands (which tend to run in the .77-.79” range at the 1st fret). I have really long fingers and those are a recipe for hand cramps.

I've never seen anything like that. I can't begin to tell you what I actually see in that without getting slapped by a mod stick!

The necks are definitely on the slim side. It’s very different from my G&L L2500.

Cort’s always been solid quality IME, like Samick. So many things are made at the Cort factory/factories that have good things said about them. I’d recommend the brand to anyone seeking a good mid level real instrument.

I dig the tweaks to the Jazz bass aesthetic on yours. Congrats on the NBD. Enjoy the honeymoon

Cort basses are fine, and anyone who considers them inferior as a brand, is suffering a case of snobbishness. I was considering very seriously an A6 before I bought my BTB and would love an Ultra Ash 5.

Last year I was looking to pickup a 6 string just to give it a try. Didn’t want to drop a lot of cash on one and I ran across the A6. I had to order it from Thomann, Germany. It took awhile to arrive,but when it did I was blown away by the quality. Very nice high quality bass that sounds great. Exceeded my expectations on all fronts.
