The Sterling has always been my "go to" bass. Both of mine are the HS variant.

I couldn't agree more. Even the US SUBs. Just absolutely awesomeCongrats! Nice bass!!! My opinion is that the Sterlings have the nicest necks of any bass out there. They are just so easy to play. Enjoy!
LOL my kitchen has somenrecessed LED cans that throw good light for pics.Works with that kitchen floor, too. Really ties the room together.
In all seriousness, that is a choice score. And yeah I'd take the EBMM over the Ric any day.
And twice on Saturdays!I’ll take a MM over a Ric 7 days a week!
Nice bass! Awesome color, for sure. I too love Tangerine basses!

Thanks! Yes, it's a 59 Custom Shop Relic in Candy Tangerine. It has some of the best looking finish checking I've ever seen. It's gorgeous. Is that a custom color?

YEAH! I bought the American Original 60's in my avatar for myself at Christmas. I can't wait for the Nitro to check on it. I've already started wearing through where my forearm touches and have buckle rash all over the back. My girls get gigged. Hard.Damn, son! Nitro goals right there.

That is a US made Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling, not the cheaper “Sterling by Music Man” basses. I would take the Sterling over a Ric any day. That’s pretty cool but you sold a Ric for a Sterling? Ouch.
I also was eyeing this one. Glad it went to a good home when it did, because my wife would have killed me.I have 2 Sterling's. 1996 H & a 2007 HH, love them both.
I saw this for sell & wanted it really bad.
Love the color & r/w board.
Enjoy it.![]()
This is my third sterling and currently the second in my rack. One was sold at one time. Also have a US SUB sterlingCongratulations! I am confident that you will find the sterling to be extremely versatile - don’t be afraid to use that three-way switch! A lot of very usable tones lurk in that control with the preamp. Among the many bases that have come through my collection, my 95 Sterling will never leave!
