NBD EBMM Sterling

the rest of my EBMM family

Been looking for a rosewood board sterling for a little while. The TB classifieds paid off! Bit of a chip in the clear coat on the back that I wasn't expecting, but life goes on. Bass is intended to be gigged pretty hard anyhow. It plays great, sounds great, color is awesome. Price was good. Finally sold my 4003, got a new sterling and cash towards a new cab. Not a bad day!View attachment 3431388 View attachment 3431389 View attachment 3431390 View attachment 3431391

Beautiful! So so jealous.

The EBMM model that time kinda forgot.

Don't feel the least bit regretful giving up a RIC for that Sterling. I did the same thing yesterday. The Sterling is a superior instrument in playability, design, and workmanship, regardless of current market prices.
Disclaimer - I have another RIC. This is my first and only Sterling.
I don't miss the Ric at all. I've still got a few hundred bucks hanging out towards the next acquisition. I really disliked that particular Ric. I'll probably get another one day. But I'm much happier owning my second sterling.
