NBD! Extremely special Peavey T-40!

I got the one off T-40 featured in the Peavey Revolution book!

to say I’m over the moon is a major understatement! I’ve lusted after this for years!!!

If it weren't Sunday, I'd have to say I officially hate you, or at least am extremely jealous of you.
That is the best looking T40 I have ever seen. Lucky man.

More pictures are needed.

Wow! That looks great!!!!

So what's the story behind it? How'd you get it? Why did they make that one-off? Don't leave us hanging, man!

thanks! Yeah it was made in 1980 as a gift for the author of the book who was a big Peavey dealer in the UK back then.
It’s one of the few times being in the UK has actually helped my T-40 collection grow!

Stunning!
How'd you find it? What's the story?

I’ve been aware of it for years… never thought I’d see it in the flesh of course… then the owner posted it on Facebook a couple of years ago, I tried but couldn’t get near the valuation (I even tried a two for one trade on 2 other T-40s I had!) then recently he decided it was definitely time to sell, and luckily this time it was available cheaper than before.

Thanks too for mentioning the book. I didn't know it existed and will purchase a copy soon enough.
I'm moving soon and I'll finally have a place to mount my large Peavey Authorised Dealer" sign I purchased from a shop going out of business. I ditched the original frame and fluoro lighting and just kept the perspex for over 20y.

Looks so good without the PG. Like how a T-45 looks. Didn't know about the book. As the owner of a T-40,
T-45, T-20, Fury and Foundation I gotta get me a copy of that book! :hyper:
Thanks for mentioning the book!

Gorgeous... but surprisingly, I'm astounded that you have a shot gun case that still has the brown lining... I just finished putting a lining in my second peavey case and only have run across one that still has the original lining and metal guides that hold the case open.

The cases for all these have the same lining!
