NBD: Fender Classic '70s Jazz

It's hard to capture its "epicness" with a camera. They are beautiful instruments in person.

And yes, the tort is like the icing on the cake :D

hi,

I'm thinking of swapping the factory black pickguard for a tort one after seeing your pic.
Any things I need to look out for when ordering one ?
I've heard that American, Japanese and Mexican Fenders have different screw hole locations.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Just look for Mexican ones. They fit perfectly.
It is a 10-hole pickguard. Some jazzes have an 11th screwhole right above the neck pickup, don't get it.

The 10-hole Mexican pickguard fits really snug. It's a charm!
