I plan on putting a Pure Vintage '63 pickup in it. Not that it really needs it.Nice! They are great basses.
On my Player, I personally put a vintage bridge, PV63 pickups, Emerson pot kit and the usual vintage style knobs. Made it even nicer, but not necessary.

The stock pickups on the Player models (guitars and basses) are actually really good and I think people seriously underrate them. I have one exact oh like it and it sounds better than my main white Player P which has PV63S (I might even swap!)
